  1. In PHP5.3 all additional configure options (except --enable-cgi) are removed:
  2. --enable-fastcgi CGI: If this is enabled, the cgi module will
  3. be built with support for fastcgi also
  4. Now fastcgi is always enabled
  5. --disable-path-info-check CGI: If this is disabled, paths such as
  6. /info.php/test?a=b will fail to work
  7. Now it is enabled by default, but can be disabled
  8. with ini directive "cgi.fix_pathinfo=0"
  9. --enable-force-cgi-redirect
  10. CGI: Enable the security check for internal server
  11. redirects. You should use this if you are
  12. running the CGI version with Apache
  13. Now it is enabled by default, but can be disabled
  14. with ini directive "cgi.force_redirect=0"
  15. --enable-discard-path CGI: If this is enabled, the PHP CGI binary
  16. can safely be placed outside of the
  17. web tree and people will not be able
  18. to circumvent .htaccess security
  19. This option had effect only with
  20. --disable-path-info-check or "cgi.fix_pathinfo=0".
  21. Seems it needs only for CGI configuration that
  22. require each script start from "#! /usr/bin/php".
  23. Now it is disabled by default, but can be enabled
  24. with ini directive "cgi.discard_path=1".
